Paris
Ooh la la! Pastries and sunshine, I could get used to this. 🇫🇷
Staying right in the heart of city centre, Châtelet-Les Halles was a great Parisian base – it’s lively, close to everything, and easy to walk/metro around. I’d do it again in a heartbeat. 💖
Paris Recommendations
The classics: Champs-Élysées, Eiffel Tower, Louvre, Musee d’Orsay, Palais-Royal, Notre Dame, Sacré-Cœur
For pastries, Fou de Pâtisserie is a must! They have a few locations, they gather the best from the pâtisseries around the city all in one place! ❤️ Another pastry place, Ritz Paris Le Comptoir. For eclairs, La Maison du Chocolat!
If you like French cuisine, Comptoir de la Gastronomie is fantastic! (Also enjoyed visiting bouillons, delicious, great atmosphere, and fantastic bang for the buck.)
To be transported to Tokyo, check out Kodawari Ramen Tsukiji in St. Germain.
For soufflé, La Cuisine de Philippe in St. Germain.
You know I love my art museums, but for history and architecture, it was the tour at Palais Garnier (Opera) that blew me away!
